the Alviano nature reserve, in
southern Umbria, is the result of the
renovation of an old house that was
formerly part of small country
church. All of the windows look out
from the panoramic side of the
house onto a view of wide open
spaces, sweeping into the distance.
The living room opens onto the
veranda, which is stylishly furnished
with a sofa and garden chairs. From
the garden, with its abundance of
flowers and herbs, several steps lead
down to lower level with the pool
and a well equipped pool house. The
farmhouse is elegantly furnished
throughout. A traditional sitting room
on the ground floor has a magnificent
double facing fireplace, next to a
spacious living room with a large
fireplace. Attached is a consecrated
chapel with is available for weddings.
