chic, this is Ceccomoro - an
impressive and visually stunning
property with a heated pool, and an
outstanding all around view of Todi
and some of the most beautiful
countryside in Italy.
The total antithesis of the cluttered
Tuscan farmhouse, Ceccomoro will
appeal to those who would enjoy a
stylish and elegant home, with an
unusually high attention to detail
and comfort. The approach along
the drive, lined with umbrella pines,
leads to this grand and impressive
villa, situated on a hill with 360
degree views as far away as Perugia
on a clear day. Inside, the very
spacious rooms give a feeling of
coolness, light and tranquility which
match the mood of the house with
sun streaming through its many
windows, and its color washed
walls, complementing the many
paintings belonging to its
accomplished owner. Ceccomoro
has been built with entertaining in
mind - the sensational living room
runs the whole length of the house,
with comfortable sofas, huge open
fireplace and an elevated dining area
with seating for 14. French doors
lead to lawns and a wall above the
pool area below. A study with fax
provides a refuge for the stressed
executive. Four couples can all
enjoy the unusually large en-suite
bedrooms and baths. The master
suite has sublime views, an open
fireplace, beamed ceilings and an
extravagantly large and luxurious
bathroom. Few locations, however,
can beat the pool area, sculpted
into a beautiful area level with the
ground to give a surreal impression
of bathing within the view.
The large pool house, with laundry
room and kitchenette leads on to a
shaded terrace and to the pool area.
