This charming farmhouse enjoys a truly
delightful position with spectacular
panoramic views of the rolling Umbrian
hills. With two living rooms, and a separate
annex, Casa Cottimi is an excellent venue
for a gathering of family or friends.
This delightful property is located near the
village of Preggio and is within walking
distance of local shops and restaurants.
Guests will love the outside living spaces,
with two terraces from which to choose,
both enjoying the pervasive scent of
lavender and rosemary. A large dining
table sits on one of the terraces which has
a bamboo roof with climbing wisteria
providing ample shade and stunning views
over the valley (and overlooking the pool
area for supervising children). The other
terrace nestles in the garden at the side of the
property with a view of Preggio and the hills
beyond. Inside, one living room is situated
upstairs with a large fireplace and downstairs
is the dining room with beamed ceilings and
another living room, with doors opening
onto the terrace with a stone BBQ and fridge.
In addition to the main house is the original
Tobacco Tower, converted into a completely
self-contained annex, ideal for guests
preferring somewhere to escape to, as well as
being suited for teenagers wanting their own
"space" away from the parents. With its
BBQ, large swimming pool and swing for
children, there is always plenty to do. For
lovers of art and culture, Casa Cottimi is an
ideal base, with easy access to the towns of
Perugia, Cortona, Gubbio and Assisi.
