When you dream about a villa in Tuscany,
this is the house you dream about. The
setting is extraordinary, the views
unforgettable and the house itself is beautiful.
La Vetrichina is located in the heart of
peaceful countryside near san Casciano dei
Bagni, an ancient village not yet discovered
by masses of tourists. The owners have
taken great care in restoring the house and
furnishing it with antiques and art and
equipping it with all of the mod cons, such
as AIR CONDITIONING. You can also enjoy
the wonderful views of Monte Cetona, Monte
Amiata and the village itself. The Fonte
Verde Spa and hotel, located nearby, has
recently undergone a complete restoration
and the people in town are friendly and
welcoming.
If you can bring yourself to leave the house,
you are close to many charming tourist
sights in Tuscany and also in Umbria. You
can reach Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano,
Assisi, Todi or Orvieto within an hour. In
addition, you are 30 minutes from the
Chiusi train station where you can take the
train to Florence and be there in 70 minutes
and in Rome in 75 minutes. The house offers
everything - a retreat, a touring base and an
opportunity to relax.
