This elegantly restored villa dates from the 16th
century and is located in the Val d'Arno, only
one half hour (17 km.) from Florence. Although
near the city, the villa is situated in the midst of
32 acres of land that includes gardens, vineyards,
olive groves, and woodland full birds, deer, hare
and other animals. Set on a hilltop, 300 meters
( 960 ft.) above sea level, high above the valley
of the Arno, the property is blessed with cool
breezes, even on the hottest of summer days,
and is AIR CONDITIONED to ensure the
comfort of the guests, and has a temperate
climate from May through October.
The living areas have been furnished by the
owners with their collection of Italian antiques
and artwork, and are as luxurious as they are
comfortable. The house features five fireplaces,
including one in the dining room, living room
and master bedroom. There is a large formal
dining room, gracious living room, and a
sizeable game room with a pool table to while
away the odd rainy day. In addition, there is a
professional kitchen, from which the villa's
live-in chef can prepare delicious, authentic
Tuscan cuisine.
The newly constructed swimming pool is open
from May 1 through the end of October, and the
estate's private lake is available for rowing and
fishing, for those who wish to have a relaxing
break after exploring Florence or the many
other hill towns and landscapes of the Chianti
region.
Experience the agricultural season first hand
with the villa's wine harvest in September and
the olive picking of the villa's 1500 trees from
late October through mid December. The estate
has its own cantina and bottles a high quality
extra virgin olive oil, with this region being
ranked as producing the best and most delicate
of all oils, and 700 bottles of a very nice wine
made from a blend of sangiovese, cabernet,
and merlot grapes.
With the commanding views of the Tuscan
landscape, where little has changed since the
15th century, the villa is suitable for romantic
getaways, family holidays, special events such
as weddings, cooking classes, wine tastings, or
simply a special vacation for a group of friends
wishing to explore the artistic and culinary
worlds of Florence, Siena, Arezzo and the
Chianti.

The living areas are on three floors. There are
six queen size bedrooms and one twin with six
full baths, three of which have tubs, and a family
or TV room with a fireplace

OUTSIDE AREAS
Dining terrace with grill, girarrosto, pizza oven
and barbecue. The charming piazzetta can
