A beautiful 15th century Tuscan farmhouse
which has been lovingly restored to an
extremely high standard by its artistic owner,
while maintaining its simplicity and grace.

surrounded by terraced olive groves that lead
down to a beautifully landscaped 45 ft.

Podere Bolderini is a stylish and welcoming
Tuscan home, suitable for groups or couples
looking for a peaceful retreat within an easy
drive of Siena and the hill towns of the Crete
Senesi. Thoughtfully furnished with comfort
in mind, the house boasts an attractive mix of
the owner's own paintings, antiques and
furniture, framed by arches, terracotta floors
and golden beams. Each of the four colorful
bedrooms has a unique style, three with
exquisitely finished en-suite bathrooms. Two
of the bedrooms share a bath. Outside, an
arcaded loggia with cushioned sofas is just
one of the chill-out areas on offer while the al
fresco dining area has wonderful views of the
valley of San Giovanni d'Asso. The
immediate surroundings are particularly
special as they have not been over-farmed.
There are still large areas of woodlands and
wilderness to explore, which are full of
wildlife, beautiful flowers, mushrooms and
even the odd wild boar. One can also explore
by horse or mountain bike. Despite the
tranquility, there are many things to do
throughout the year in a region that is rich in
culture and cuisine. With solar powered
electricity, free radiant heat makes the house
an extremely attractive option for an off
season rental, perhaps during the white
truffle festival of San Giovanni d'Asso.
While the house is completely private, there
is a caretaker in a neighboring cottage who is
available for assistance and he looks after four
cats who may make an appearance now and
then.
