This beautiful villa was built in the
second half of the 19th century, and
has recently been completely
renovated throughout. It is located
only 4 kms. from Greve in Chianti
on the famous Chiantigiana highway
that links Florence and Siena. The
views from the property are like a
picture of typical Chianti landscape.
As far as the eye can see, there are
gently rolling hills covered with
vineyards and olive groves. Villa
Montoro, mid way between Florence
and Siena, is an ideal base for
sightseeing and trips to both the
larger Tuscan cities and smaller
towns. Within the well maintained
garden with trees and flower beds,
there is the swimming pool,
surrounded by a terrace with
changing room and outdoor shower.
The interiors of the house have
beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and
are furnished with comfortable,
traditional furniture and antiques.
There is a very well equipped kitchen
and modern baths. The owner lives in
a separate apartment on the estate.
