Monticchia is a carefully restored
country house that is set on a 1700
acre estate in theVal d' Orcia region
of Tuscany. This is on the same
estate as Aiola and can be rented
together to provide accommodation
for 16 people. This extraordinarily
beautiful stretch of Italy sits mid
point between Florence and Rome.
Nearby is the old Roman spa town
of San Casciano dei Bagni, where
the newly re-opened Fonte Verde
Spa offers hot thermal baths along
with all of spa treatments people
have come to enjoy.
Monticchia provides maximum
comfort in a peaceful, refined and
very private atmosphere. Guests
can enjoy walks and bike rides
through the properties private paths
and can visit the nearby towns of
Montepulciano, Pienza, Cetona and
Montalcino, famous for its Brunello
wines. The airports of Florence and
Rome are 1 ½ hours away.

Outside there is a shaded pergola
for dining al fresco and extensive

telephone, screened windows
Daily maid service.
Staff to cook and serve lunch and
dinner at E15 per hour. Baby sitting
and laundry service at E 15 per hour
Welcome Buffet Dinner: $30 per
person, including wine
