Le Fontanelle is a beautiful Tuscan
villa that is located just 1.5 kms from
the medieval walled town of
Monticchiello. Located in the heart
of the Val d'Orcia, Le Fontanelle is
conveniently located a short drive
from the famous hill towns of Pienza,
Montepulciano and Montalcino.
Chiusi, with its train station that lets
you go to either Florence or Rome is
20 minutes away. Also in Chiusi, at
the intersection of the A1 Autostrada,
is the Italian version of a shopping mall,
with the main store being a huge
supermarket. For local shopping,
Pienza and Montepulciano are closeby.
For gardening enthusiasts, the formal
gardens of La Foce are just 10 minutes
away and are open to the public on
Wednesday afternoons.
