Surrounded by the hills of Tuscany, La
Sassaia is an elegant residence tucked away
near the quaint village of Sovicille The
property consists of a main house with an
independent wing and a guest house (smaller
groups may rent the villa without the guest
house), making it ideal for family reunions
or getaways with friends. The villa is built in
the typical Tuscan style, using local stone. Its
architectural structure is a wonderful
integration of natural materials and carefully
selected details, and the lush interior dιcor
features a range of antiques and deluxe
furnishings. The stylish and sophisticated
atmosphere is complemented by fantastic
views of the nearby vineyards.
MAIN VILLA
There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms
in main villa. On the ground floor, the living
room features a cozy fireplace and an
entertainment center with TV, VCR and
stereo. The large kitchen is fully equipped
and has a dining area that leads to a patio -
ideal for dining alfresco amidst the beauty of
the Tuscan landscape. Upstairs, a spacious
living room makes an ideal gathering spot
and features a gaming table. There is one
queen size bedroom with an en-suite bath
and a double bedroom with en-suite bath and
dressing room.
GINESTRA (INDEPENDENT WING)
There are two bedrooms and two baths in the
Ginestra wing of the villa, each with their
own independent entrance. The first entrance
opens onto the junior suite with a queen size
bed, open kitchenette, breakfast table and
private bath with shower. The second
entrance opens onto a spacious queen size
bedroom with en-suite bath and direct access
to a charming roof terrace.
VIGNA (GUEST HOUSE)
There are two bedrooms and two baths in the
cozy Vigna guest house, which faces a
beautiful vineyard. The junior suite features a
queen size bed with en-suite bath as well as a
double bedroom with en-suite bath. There is
a living room with a dining area, a separate
kitchenette, and a patio perfect for lounging
or dining under the Tuscan sun.
La Sassaia is conveniently located near the
famous art cities of Siena and Florence.
Surrounded by gardens and inspiring views,
it is not only a gorgeous haven but also a
deluxe retreat. The attentive service and
warm hospitality guarantee a very special
stay. Guests are pampered by the villa's
owner, a culinary expert who caters the
finest Tuscan cuisine. Additionally, a
concierge is available to facilitate your stay
and attend to your getaway needs. Nearby
woods are ideal for walks and feature the
opportunity for mushroom picking in the
fall season. Tennis is 15 min. away at Borgo
Pretale and riding is 20 min. away at Il
Cannuccio.
