Il Sogno is located in the Fiesole
village of Compiobbi, about 11 kms.
east of Florence, in a rural, majestic
Tuscan setting and is about a 20
minute drive from the center of the
city. The villa is situated amidst
rolling hills surrounded by olive
and fruit trees and is landscaped
with many varieties of flowers and
herbs. The villa has been recently
restored with great attention to
custom details in a contemporary
eclectic style, while maintaining
the integrity of the Tuscan style. It
is reached by a beautiful winding
country road, 4 kms. from the main
road, and is entered by a remote
controlled gate, onto a driveway
lined with majestic ancient cypress
trees. Outside, there are two
terraces with wonderful views.
One is off of the kitchen with a
large pergola, sitting area, and is
ideal for al fresco dining with its
stone barbeque and outdoor sink.
The house has a grand living room /
dining area with three sides of
windows, wooden beams, fireplace,
and a beautiful inlaid dining table
that can comfortably seat 14 people.
The modern kitchen is well stocked
for entertaining. The master
bedroom has a sitting area
overlooking a terrace with
wonderful morning sun and a
spectacular panoramic view. There
is a library with SAT TV, telephone,
fax, stereo and internet access. The
house is beautifully furnished with
antiques, art, fine china and fine
Italian linens and towels.

bed, sitting area with French doors
overlooking a terrace with fabulous
views and en-suite bath. Internet
access and air conditioned - Double
bedroom with king size bed (can be
made up as two twins) with en-suite
bath, French doors to terrace and
