Whether you come to explore the artistic and architectural treasures of the region, to sample its wines and cuisine, or to hear and enjoy troubadour and chamber music, you will find Geggianello a stylish and tranquil Tuscan home, where you will be treated by its owner as honored andspecial guests.

You will explore, under the tutelage of an art historian, palaces and villas built during the Renaissance. You will be guided through the cultural treasures of Siena and Florence, including some, such as the private collections of the Monte de Paschi and the Palazzo Chigi Saracini, to which the public does not normally have access. Beyond the winding streets of these major cities, you will visit nearby architectural and artistic masterpieces, including Massa Marittima, the Abbey of Monte Oliveto, Colic Val d' Elsa, San Ginñgnano and the gothic abbey of San Galgano. Those with a love for fine wine may sample the delights of the Chianti Classico, one of Italy's premier wine regions, by visiting the vineyards where this famous wine is made, and by taking part in tutored tastings of the wines of the region at Geggianello under the guidance of the villa's oenologist.

The cuisine at Geggianello, supervised by a Florentine cook steeped in the traditional culinary skills of the region, relies heavily on the flavors of fresh herbs and olive oil of the Geggianello estate. Alongside your enjoyment of the very best of traditional Tuscan cooking will come the pleasures of concerts in Siena or Florence, candlelit chamber concerts at Geggianello, and the opportunity to learn about the development of early religious and secular music. At the right time of year, you will be a privileged spectator at the preparations for the Palo. You will also view the race itself and join in the post race celebrations.
