Both of these cottages and the hayloft lay in a classical Tuscan setting, on the grounds of the Fattoria La Gamberaia, which used to be the farmhouse to the Renaissance Villa Gamberaia, known worldwide for its historical gardens. Once used to store young lemon trees during the winter months, and olives during the harvest, it has now been converted to the most comfortable country cottages, where you will find a perfect balance between modern and traditional furniture. The views are of the countryside and Florence in the distance. It is walking distance to the village of Settignano and only 4 kms. from Florence. It is a 25 minute bus ride from the village into the Central Station in Florence.
MAGGAZINO 1 - Sleeps 4
Access to the house is through French doors off of the living room and kitchen into a private garden. The spacious living room has SAT TV and a fireplace. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area overlook an elegantly furnished patio with a sitting and dining area. Off of the living room is the "Magnolia Suite", with a queen size bed, walk-in closet and en-suite bath with tub and shower. The "Green room" also has a queen size bed, with an en-suite bath with a large shower. There is a small laundry with w/d and storage area off of the kitchen. Maggazino 1 can also be rented with the Hayloft, which sleeps two.
HAYLOFT - Sleeps 2
The "Carriage Suite" has a queen size bed, walk-in closet and an en-suite bath with shower. There is a living room with a fireplace and SAT TV, along with a small kitchenette. There is a washing machine in the closet.
MAGGAZINO 2 - Sleeps 6
Access to the house is through French doors in all rooms on the ground floor and all suites into a large private garden.
First Floor: Spacious living room with SAT TV and a fireplace - Fully equipped kitchen with dining area overlook a comfortable outside dining area - "Flower Suite" with 4 poster queen size bed, fireplace, walk-in closet and en-suite bath with tub and shower.
Ground Floor: Down the stairs and off of the small "jardin d'hiver" are the "Black and White Suite" with a queen size bed, en-suite bath with tub and shower and a walk-in closet - The "Wisteria Suite" with a queen size bed, en-suite bath with a separate large shower and walk-in closet - small laundry with w/d.
Amenities: AIR CONDITIONING, WI-FI, washer / dryers, SAT TV, parking
Maid service: 2 hours, 3 days a week
Linen changed on Wednesday and Saturdays, towels on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
Available on request: Personal cook, personal laundry and ironing - € 12 per hour, advance grocery shopping, airport pickup, Yoga teacher, wine tastings, art / historical day trips
