Located only twenty minutes from Siena,
and nestled in the rolling hills between
Chianti and the Crete Senesi, in a
magnificent setting, is Casa Riccardo. This
casa colonica, with 6500 sq. ft. was built
by the Duke of Tuscany, and has been
restored with all of the mod cons and
comforts, and has been decorated with the
simple style of the times. It belongs to a
beautiful estate, an ideal place to spend
vacations in harmony with the natural
surroundings.
Inside, there are terracotta floors, the
original vaulted ceilings, and beautiful
views of the surrounding countryside,
with vineyards, sunflower fields and horses
grazing in the flowering fields. Special
attention has been given to the fine quality
fabrics that decorate the house in an
elegant Tuscan style. The house features
artwork of the artist/owner. Casa Riccardo
is on the same estate as Casa Sherry and
can be rented together to accommodate
large groups.
