Located near the small town of Vorno, on
the grounds of Villa Controni, Casa Felice
Matteucci has just undergone a complete
restoration. Great care and attention to
detail has gone into making this an
outstanding villa with fabulously stylish
interiors that are both opulent and very
elegant. Set amongst olive trees and
overlooking a small pond with its own
island. It is fully staffed including a chef to
prepare two meals daily.
Ground Floor: Main entrance leading to a
grand salon with fireplace, music system,
SAT TV and dual capacity video - Fully
equipped kitchen - Dining room with
vaulted ceiling - Study - Half bath -
Laundry room
First Floor: Six sunny and spacious queen
bedded rooms with beamed ceilings and
terracotta floors with en-suite baths. One
room can be adjoining and can be either a
twin bedded or king bedded room
Amenities: Air conditioning, SAT TV,
telephone, fax, computer with internet
connection, large, private salt water
swimming pool
Staff: Housekeeper six days per week. A chef
who is available to prepare a continental buffet
style breakfast and either lunch or dinner six
days per week. Gardener who looks after the
grounds and does pool maintenance.
Additional Services: Wine Cellar and Tastings:
There is a well stocked wine cellar with prices
from 10 Euros upwards. A professional
sommelier can also be arranged to tailor a wine
tasting program.
Laundry: There is service for personal laundry
as well as making arrangements for any special
dry cleaning.
Baby Sitting: English speaking baby sitters can
be arranged.
Massage: Massages, manicures and pedicures
can be arranged at the villa.
Distances: Lucca - 10 min., Pisa - 30 min.,
Florence - 1 hour, Chianti - 1 ½ hours
