Casa Cameron is located on the grounds of
Villa Lucia, which is in the village of Vorno,
a delightful gathering of rustic stone
farmhouses and majestic villas set in the lush
countryside at the foot of Monte Zano. Just
south of Lucca. Originally the coach house
of the estate, Casa Cameron has been
meticulously restored with six bedrooms
with en-suite baths. Each room is decorated
differently and has its own charm, which
compliments the high, vaulted, wood beamed
ceilings. The transparent curtains give a light,
airy feel to the rustic architecture and the
original shutters can serve to block out the
light. On the ground floor is a large living
room with fireplace, luxurious dining room
with fireplace and seating for 16, and a state-
of-the-art kitchen, and a fully stocked wine
cellar with its ancient wine press and tasting
room. There is an office with internet
connection and fax as well as a TV room
with cable and SAT TV, DVD and VCR.
The bedrooms, named after some of Italy's
most illustrious composers, are located on
the first floor, benefiting from the light and
views. The south facing rooms, Scarlatti and
Bellini, feature large bathrooms with
colorful tiles, warmly decorated bedroom
interiors and wonderful views of the rolling
Tuscan hills. The premium rooms, Puccini
and Verdi, are spacious and airy. A
magnificent wrought iron four poster bed
with organza silk drapes creates an intimate
Puccini room while the Verdi room contains
mahogany antiques and has an unequalled
view of the Villa Lucia estate. The Rossini
room has a double bed facing a fireplace and
the bright Vivaldi room has double windows
with a view of the lemon garden. The house
is completely air conditioned. The house is

limonaia has been converted to create a
magnificent open plan demonstration kitchen
and dining room, and also houses the ancient
wine press and wine tasting room. Full
laundry service is offered
Outside, a lemon garden provides an ideal
setting for dining al fresco, and a stone
columned pergola situated across from the
limonaia creates a haven for relaxing, reading,
or simply enjoying a glass of wine on the soft
banquettes. There is a swimming pool and a
tennis court that is shared with the main villa
if no other exclusive rental exists.
Staff: Your chef, Giancarlo Talerico, is a
highly trained expert in Tuscan cuisine.
Angharad Parry acts as hostess and head-of-
house. There are housekeeping and table
waiting staff plus a gardener and maintenance
staff. Staff has one day off per week but there
will be someone on duty during the chef's day
off for breakfast service and housekeeping.
When rented together with Villa Lucia and
Casa Joshua, the entire property can
accommodate up to 42 people. Ideal for family
reunions, conferences, or weddings.
