Walking along the pathway from Positano,
it must come as a wonderful surprise to
realize that the 14th century Saracen tower
built on the rocks overlooking the sea is in
fact your vacation home. This is the
ultimate honeymoon retreat, with the
circular roof terrace of La Trasita being
truly spectacular.
Anyone who knows Positano will know
Baldo, whose restaurant is a byword with
the cognoscenti. Baldo bought La Trasita
some years ago, and converted it into three
apartments, and the result is a unique
holiday venue for a special holiday that is
difficult to match. Romantically perched on
a gorgeous stretch of coastline, there are
fantastic views out to sea and of Positano.
Comfortably furnished, each air conditioned
apartment has its own access, and the star
apartment, La Trasita, has steps leading to a
huge circular roof terrace, with great views
and is ideal for sunbathing. There is lovely
sea bathing below the tower, easily reached
by swimming round from the nearby beach.
La Trasita has a feeling of isolation, yet is
only a ten minute walk from bustling
Positano beach - or be really lazy and be
dropped of in the sea below by one of the
many boats which can be hired for the day.
Nothing is too much for Baldo, who makes
his guests feel immediately at home.
La Trasita: The ultimate honeymoon nest.
Spend the day sunbathing on the roof terrace,
or reading in the circular living room. Very
spacious and well equipped for entertaining
friends in other apartments. - Large open plan

La Trasita Piccola: Smaller and more modest than
La Trasita above, but charmingly compact with
its own shaded terrace. The spacious bedroom with
TV has wonderful views. - Kitchenette with
dining area - Doublr bedroom - Bath - Terrace
La Stanza: Available only as a small, self contained studio annex for either apartment. - Double or twin bedroom with en-suite bath.
Facilities: Laundry service, TV telephone (La Trasita only) Maid service: 1 hour 6 days per week.
Distances: Airports: Naples - 57 kms., Rome - 275 kms. Shops / hydrofoil to Amalfi / Capri / restaurants / tennis / beach within 5 - 20 minutes walk. Amalfi - 17 kms., Ravello - 25 kms., Pompeii - 45 kms.
