La Torre di Positano is a unique, ocean front
residence in Positano. This fascinating
property, with a millennium of history, is
located on a centric spot at the edge of
Positano harbor. It has become famous for its
distinctive and idiosyncratic characteristics
as well as for its former owner, the artist
Clavel, who first gave life to the tower. The
house spreads over multiple levels, connected
by open air paths and hallways hewn from
stone. Surrounded on three sides by water,
the villa provides incredible light, diving in
through every window. This retreat is ideal
for privacy and perfect for outdoors living.
Unit 1 - TORRE - 3 Bedrooms
Ground Floor: Kitchen overlooking beach
below (this kitchen can be used by guests.
However, the cleaning of this area is not
included in price.)
First Floor: Queen sized bedroom with
en-suite bath
Second Floor: Spacious and light filled main
living room with windows facing three
directions, with views of the village, coast
and sea. There are three seating areas that can
accommodate up to 12 people for
conversation. There is a fireplace, dining
table with six chairs, bar fridge, TV and
CD / VCR.
Unit 2 - PORTICATO - 2 Bedrooms
Ground Floor: Long, tiled dining portico
with an extensive wooden table that can
accommodate all for lunch or dinner. This
room offers breathtaking views of Positano.
There is an intimate sitting room for six
people off of the dining portico. Newly
renovated main kitchen with pantry and
arched glass doors opening to covered
terrace and laundry area.
First Floor: Library / bedroom with a single
bed and a small guest bath. King size
bedroom (can be made as twin) with
en-suite bath
Unit 3 - LES SIRENE - 2 Bedrooms
First Floor: King size bedroom (can be made
as twin) with en-suite bath.
Second Floor: Single bedroom with TV and
en-suite bath with a unique design.
Third Floor: Bright and breezy living room
with three large windows facing west with a
door to small terrace. Sitting area with
bamboo sofas and chairs for five and a round
table for four. A new corner kitchen with
granite counter top and casual stools.
OUTSIDE FEATURES
Besides the several terraces for relaxing and
dining al fresco, there is a private access to
the beach. Even though it is public, it can only
be reached from the villa's private staircase
or from the water. Towels, mattresses and
umbrellas are provided to guests for use on
the beach.
AMENITIES
SAT TV, CD / VCR, telephone and fax, BBQ,
outdoor shower, separate fridge and freezer,
dishwasher and washing machine.
Maid service of 6 hours, 6 days a week
included. Personal laundry at E 15 per hour.
Cook and staff included from 10 AM to 4 PM,
7 days a week
Private boat for arrival and departure included.
Other transfers to Positano and elsewhere at
extra cost.
Security deposit of $2000.
