Years ago in Positano, people stored water in
Roman style arched cisterns built in their
gardens and houses nearby such as this one,
and were often named as such. Located close
to Torre Sponda, this unusual property's
most stunning must be its huge private garden
terrace, and sublime, and quite spectacular
views from its terraces. Recently refurbished
to a very high standard where every comfort
has been thought of. The living / dining room
is furnished with comfortable period furniture
that perfectly compliments the ambiance of
this pretty property.
More than comfortable
for 4, with the advantage of two bedrooms
with en-suite baths. For lazy breakfasters, a
nearby pensione supplies an excellent
breakfast. There is a good cook who will
prepare and serve lunch (extra charge), or
prepare and leave an evening meal. A flight of
steps leads down to a semi-private beach, and beautiful clear water - an early morning swim before the heat of the sun beats down, making a magical start of the day. Or why not swim out to a boat hired for the day, and gently explore the coastline, stopping for lunch en-route? A recommended place to stay, just outside of the main "buzz" of Positano.

Located above La Cisterna, it faces due south
with its terrace bathed in sun all day, from
where views can be enjoyed of Positano Bay
and the Galli Islands. This intimate, delightful
property has a charming living room with
dining area and enjoys the benefit of master
bedroom with en-suite bath with separate
shower, and a kitchenette. It also shares the
same semi-private beach as La Cisterna. Taken
together with la Cisterna, it provides an
excellent base for a family party.
Amenities for both: SAT TV, telephone,
washing machine
Maid service: 2 hours, 2 days a week. Cook

Distances: Nearest shop - 300 metres along
steps and footpath, nearest beach - 10 minutes
